The Warrior’s Crown Award honors women and men who defy medical diagnosis due to faith-based endurance and the willingness to help others whether directly or indirectly while going through the discomfort and side-effects of treatment. There are some amazing individuals in this world, and we want to honor the Hero’s and Shero’s within our communities.

The Warrior’s Crown award is based on our Founder, Serena A. Holtz’s journey through breast cancer. Serena was the epitome of a Pink Warrior! No matter the ups and downs associated with treatment in fighting multiple bouts of triple negative breast cancer to stage four metastatic breast cancer. Through it all, Serena consistently exhibited a positive outlook and faith to overcome. She also continued to give of her time to share available resources to those seeking options to treatment or prevention. Serena was also actively involved in ministry and supporting other cancer focus organizations under her legacy company Livin’ the Pink Life, Pink Gala. While undergoing a clinical trial for stage four cancer, Serena was able to convert Livin’ the Pink Life to an official non-profit during the final 5-months of her life. Even in death, Serena’s legacy to be uplifting and helping those going through the battle, will live on through the up-and-coming Pink Warriors.

Who may nominate? We encourage non-profits, government, and private sector industries to nominate as well as individuals who are interested in helping us educate, assist and acknowledge those who are battling breast cancer. To nominate a cancer patient or survivor that exemplifies the characteristics of the Warrior’s Crown simply document their journey and how they impacted the community. Each nomination should be accompanied with a 2-minute max video along with a 1-page write-up (minimum 12 pt. font).
The winner will receive a VIP Pass to the Pink and White Brunch including meal, $500 Gift Card, and a Survivor's Gift Bag.
