The Livin’ the Pink Life, Inc. 2024 Pink and White Brunch was an empowering and memorable event, filled with heartfelt stories and moments of connection. Thelma D. Jones delivered a powerful keynote, joined by mountain moving inspiring testimonies from Tiara Dews Lindo, Kimberly Y. Jones and Knowledge Shabazz. The event also featured a soulful performance by Gale Smith, accompanied by Tia Smith, which added a beautiful touch to the day. Let’s not forgot our fabulousMistress of Ceremony and Decorator, Rev. Charlene Major.
A special acknowledgment goes to Ty Montgomery, Atlanta based Brand Influencer and Videographer who travels to Maryland, every year to serve as our videographer. Through her company, the Goods and Gold Creative Agency, Ty captures the spirit of the event and supports us throughout the planning process with branding and marketing engagement. The Story Behind The Name - Crystal’s Cravings began over 10 years ago as a vision without a name.
After giving birth to her son, Crystal, the visionary and founder of Crystal’s Cravings, felt overwhelmed by the challenges of becoming a new mom. Desperate to find a way to overcome her postpartum depression, she tried finding ways to reconnect with the things or even the memories that brought her joy.
She began reminiscing about her time as a little girl helping both her maternal and paternal grandmothers in their kitchens baking pies, cakes, homemade yeast rolls –and whatever else the family was craving. She instantly felt joy and the love of her grandmothers as she savored those memories.
